Bert Jewelry for the CF Foundation:

These bracelets are made by my daughter and her friends to raise money for the CF Foundation. Because my daughter has CF, we want to donate €5 per set of these ribbon bracelets to the CF Foundation. The CF Foundation facilitates and stimulates research into CF, which improves the future prospects of people with CF.

Cystic Fibrosis, or popularly known as: Cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis is a hereditary and chronic disease. Approximately 1750 people in the Netherlands have cystic fibrosis and approximately 25-30 children are born with this condition each year . If you have CF, the mucus throughout the body is too sticky. As a result, various organs such as the lungs, pancreas and reproductive organs function less well and the function of these organs can deteriorate . More treatment options have been added in recent years.

The life expectancy of people with cystic fibrosis is limited. However, children born with CF today have a better future perspective than people born with CF thirty years ago.
